MOCer of the Week - Derfel Cadarn

This week's MOCer of the Week is Derfel Cadarn! When you think of impressive castle mocs, Derfel Candarn easily comes to mind - an AFOL builder known as one of the best intricate castle designers in the Lego community. If there's one thing you can bet on with Cadarn, it's that you'll be blown away with what he comes up with next! After spending half the day pouring through his flickr page I must have found at least 20 different mocs I wanted to show off here at Geek N' Bricks. These 2 mocs: Dedication and Mars Attacks may have been two of my favorite from the bunch, but your sure to find a lot more to satisfy your inner geeky pleasure!

Stop and spend a few minutes looking over his photostream and see if you can't find something to inspire you in your next build! Great job and keep on building Derfel Cadarn!

MOCer of the Week - Karf Oohlu

This week's MOCer of the Week is Karf Oohlu! Karf has been one of my favorite builders for quite some time now with his often humorous, and incredibly detailed mocs! One of things that impresses me the most is his ingenious parts usage with examples shown above. I had a very difficult time choosing just one picture to highlight this time and had to go with two of my most favorite mocs of his.
I'm really a sucker for anything with monkey's in it, and a trike made out of ball socket pieces to make a wheel is just an ingenious touch that really works! And how can you say no to a futuristic superhumanoid death machine...on tracks! Kark Oohlu really put that Atlantis helmet to good use with all of those high tech armaments and then to top it off, tracks! Did I mention I love those tracks?! Anyway Karf Oohlu is definitley a build you ought to check out if your not already familiar with him! Great job and keep them coming Oohlu!
